Hart 20V battery adapter
A HyperTough 20V adapter that still speaks Hart.
Most “Hart battery adapters” are a mechanical shell and two power contacts. That can spin a simple motor. It will not satisfy Hart 20V tools that handshake with the pack. KeepYourTools harvests the PCB from old Hart packs and builds the adapter around that board.
What it is
The first product is a single adapter: HyperTough 20V packs into Hart 20V tools. You keep using Hart tools you already own. You buy HyperTough 20V packs, which are still on shelves. You do not need a cloned Hart battery that skips protection and communication.
Why the PCB matters
Hart 20V packs are not just lithium cells in a plastic brick. The pack electronics identify the battery, manage protection, and talk to the tool. Pull that board out of the loop and many tools refuse to run, run poorly, or only work if they happen to be a 2-wire load.
We treat old Hart packs as donors. Usable communication boards become the core of the adapter. That is how we aim to cover Hart 20V tools that cheap 2-conductor adapters explicitly exclude.
What it is not
- Not a Hart-branded pack and not a Walmart product.
- Not a charger. Charge HyperTough packs on a HyperTough charger; charge remaining Hart packs on a Hart charger.
- Not an invitation to bypass pack safety. We reuse the original Hart board instead of omitting it.
- Not for sale yet. Checkout and PayPal launch on this same site when the adapter is ready to ship.
Trade in Hart packs
If you have dead, weak, or spare Hart 20V packs, we want them. At launch you will order the adapter, then send packs. After we inspect them we issue a refund or credit against that PayPal invoice. That keeps bookkeeping on one payment and gives us the PCBs the adapter is built from.
