## Problem

Hart 20V cordless tools were sold at Walmart. TTI (Techtronic Industries) discontinued the Hart business. Owners still have drills, saws, lights, and outdoor tools, but new official Hart 20V packs are hard to find. People search for Hart tool battery adapter, Hart 20V battery, Hart battery pack, Hart battery replacement, and Hart battery adapter.

KeepYourTools.com does not sell Hart batteries. The way forward is a Hart 20V battery adapter so owners can run the tools they already have from a pack they can still buy.

## Product

First product: a Hart 20V battery adapter. Built around a communication PCB taken from an old Hart pack. Meant for Hart 20V tools that talk to the pack, not only simple two-conductor / 2-wire tools. Competing adapters often say they only work on two-conductor tools.

Right now this adapter fits HyperTough 20V (Walmart Hyper Tough). Charge HyperTough packs on a HyperTough charger. The adapter is not a charger. Do not charge through the adapter. Follow manufacturer and vendor instructions for any battery pack used with it.

KeepYourTools.com does not sell cloned Hart packs. This is not an adapter that puts Hart packs onto other tool brands.

## Old Hart packs

Don't throw them away. Even tired packs can still have a usable board. Checkout is $99, which includes a $40 core. Send one complete Hart 20V pack back with the prepaid ground label and form (not an eBay return; lithium packs ground only, never air). After inspect, KeepYourTools.com pays $40 by PayPal ($59 after core return). Extra complete packs are $20 each after inspection. Dead cells are fine. Incomplete packs are not paid.
